Described as having a unique and interesting style, Robin Grimmgall is an intermediate, self-taught freelance illustrator, aspiring to work professionally in the visual arts or literature industry, preferably as a 2D animator or illustrator. His focus is primarily on characters, especially anthropomorphic animals, however, he is striving to venture out into other subjects in the near future. He believes that anyone has the potential to master their craft with persistent hard work and diligence and that everyone's artwork reflects their unique personality and inner workings. He is currently on hiatus from school but aspires to complete his education and attend RISD in the future. He considers himself to be a strange and gloomy man with a twisted worldview that heavily inspires his work. He has been drawing since at least 2005 leisurely, but began his dedication for artistic growth and improvement in 2013.
